Too funny, I've been wondering if Substack could be used in similar fashion to what I've always loved about Instagram: good old-fashioned visual storytelling and proper 'insta' moments. So I'm glad for your experiment! P.S. Feel free to talk more about HD, I am quite fascinated/sceptical myself. (I'm a 3/5 Projector btw 😉)

I gave up on Instagram over a year ago now. Best decision. Having found Substack has definitely been a blessing. You still get the community element. And you can pretty much make your space into whatever you desire.

Happy experimenting!

Love this! I was thinking to do something similar on my art website newsletter - mayhap I can mix it up a bit here too! I miss that old app...

I tired quickly in the new Instagram. I’m over here feeling so much more comforted. Keep writing. Love it!!! 💖

I'm up for this experiment too. Your image is lovely. My goal is to write some shorter posts, which I shall now think of as captions. It will do me good to spend some time taking pictures the way I did in the original Instagram days.
